iCarbons MacBook Pro Carbon Skin

I have had the privilege of being able to check out first hand one of iCarbons covers for my MacBook Pro! First off, I would like to thank the staff at iCarbons for allowing us the opportunity to review one of their products. Once shipped, I got the skin in about two or three business days through USPS Priority.

When I got home the package was waiting for me in a large Manilla Envelope and inside was the skin  in perfect condition. I opened it and took out the package which included the top and bottom skin as well as a liner for around the keyboard bezel. iCarbons provides very easy to follow video instructions for installation that can be found on their site.

I had very little trouble installing the cover to my MacBook. What I do recommend though is if you happen to have a friend who has a very still hand, you have them help you out putting on the cover. I have a decent hand but I did need to peel it off a little to get it just the way I needed it. The quality of the tape that is used along with the material made it very easy to work with.

Things to get ready before starting. I suggest strongly watching both videos, the outer skins as well as the keyboard bezel videos before getting started. Get a pair of scissors and a hair dryer, that's it! I had mine put on in about 5 minutes with very little issue by watching both videos first and having those items on hand to use.

I have had the cover on my MacBook for about a week now. I carry it around in a messenger back and take it in and out multiple times a day. The cover hasn't worn or shown any signs that it will start to peel. I have had a few people ask me about the cover and want to take a look while out and about at the local coffee house. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone, as I have already to my friends and family! I will be picking up some more I hope very soon for my other devices.

iCarbons sells a skin for every current Apple device out today. They also sell a few skins for other devices, like the Kindle Fire and Galaxy Tab, along with some game consoles like the PS3, Wii, and Xbox360. Chances are (and with every day getting bigger) that if you are up with the current gadgets iCarbons is right there with you!

The skin for this review will set you back $49.95 +shipping and is well worth it. You have two mailing options, USPS First Class which at the time of this review is $2.95, and Priority Shipping for only $6.95!

We have gotten together with the guys over at iCarbons and they have provided us a unique opportunity to offer a 15% discount by using the code 'AT15' at check-out for all of our Facebook Fans!! Now is the best time to jump on this great opportunity and get a great cover for one of your valued gadgets!
