I bought my family an Apple TV 2 for Christmas last year. We were not sure if we would like it, but we were tired of paying outrageous amounts of money to our local cable provider. So we looked for a way to watch netflix and stream movies from our apple devices. I have to say, the ATV is great. We use it all the time (especially since we got rid of cable.) So for a few months It was sitting happily next to our 48" plasma tv and it looks amazing. However looking at the same ol boring black box got a little......boring. :) Thats when I went looking for something different. iCarbons.
I choose the Dark Wood skin for my ATV because I thought it would look best. Boy was I right. (Sorry about the poor quality of pictures My point and Shoot Camera took a turn for the worst so I had to take these with my iPhone 4.) The pictures don't do it any justice.
One thing I really like about this skin is it came with a remote cover also. So now my ATV and ATV Remote match just a well.
(I know I am not being very descriptive in this article but I wanna let the pictures do the talking)
These skins were a breeze to put on. As long as you have a dust free area and some steady hands. You can have these bad boys on in about 5 minutes. (If that)
The quality of this skin is nothing short of amazing. You can feel the wood texture on it. I have already gotten dozens of compliments on it since I put it on.
iCarbons does not have a huge selection of color/skins but they do cover a wide variety of devices. However, they do have TWO IMPORTANT aspects: Customer Service and Quality of Products. If every company learned customer service from them....I don't think there would ever be an angry customer again. They are top notch people, and so are their products.
So If you decide to buy some. (which I HIGHLY recommend) give them a look at www.icarbons.com
Remember tell them that The Apple Techs sent you and they will hook you up. :)

How To: Carrier Unlock your iPhone.
A really simple tutorial has been the talk of the town this afternoon on the inter webs. If you have a jailbroken iPhone 4S, you can now unlock the handset to work on other GSM carriers using the simple guide below. Note: we can’t take any credit for this, the tutorial was originally posted (in English) over at Singularity, we just thought you’d like to know about it, just in case AT&T is really getting up your nose.
WARNING: Please backup your iPhone beforehand and make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your Mac/PC.
STEP-BY-STEP
1 - Head over to Cydia and add repo: repo.bingner.com as a source. Search for Sam Bingner’s SAM package and install it.
2 - Click on the SAMPrefs icon.
3 - Go to “utilities” and hit “De-Activate iPhone”. Check “more information” to ensure that your iPhone is de-activated.
4 - Hit “Method” then “By Country and Carrier”. Select your current carrier.
5 – Check “more information” again and then copy your IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) found under “SAM Details”. Write it down too, just to be extra safe.
6 - Hit “Spoof Real SIM to SAM”.
7 - Head on over to the main SAM menu, then change the “Method” to manual. Paste your IMSI in to the relevant field, or type it in.
8 - Plug your iPhone in to iTunes. This step will reactivate your iPhone.
9 - Disconnect your iPhone when you’re finished, and quit iTunes.
10 - Disable SAM in the SAMPrefs app.
11 - Reconnect your iPhone to your computer. You’ll get a message in iTunes telling you it can’t activate the iPhone.
12 - Close iTunes then re-open it.
13 - If you’ve followed all the steps correctly, your phone should now be unlocked. If you notice that your push notifications have stopped working, you can enable them again by entering the SAM app, and hitting “Clear Push” and reconnecting to iTunes.
Remember Do this at your own risk. The Apple Techs are not at fault if your device breaks, explodes, turns into dark matter or just stops working. Although if anything should go wrong a simple restore in itunes should fix your problem. :)

Revolutionary iPhone Case!
This Solrayz product is revolutionary. Right out of the package I liked the design. It's extremely easy to use. On first use you have to charge it fully on a computer which only takes about 4 hours. It has an indicator on the back to show how charged the battery is currently. After it is fully charged you're good to go. You just slip the case on and make sure the connector goes into your phone like a normal iPod cord would. Whenever you want to charge your phone, you just slide the switch to on. To have it charge by solar you simply just have to let sunlight get to the back of the case, that's where the charging pad is. The case also has an anti-glare feature for the camera which comes in handy. All in all I would recommend the case to everyone, especially if you're on the go a lot and wouldn't be able to charge your phone normally.

iCarbons MacBook Pro Carbon Skin

When I got home the package was waiting for me in a large Manilla Envelope and inside was the skin in perfect condition. I opened it and took out the package which included the top and bottom skin as well as a liner for around the keyboard bezel. iCarbons provides very easy to follow video instructions for installation that can be found on their site.
I had very little trouble installing the cover to my MacBook. What I do recommend though is if you happen to have a friend who has a very still hand, you have them help you out putting on the cover. I have a decent hand but I did need to peel it off a little to get it just the way I needed it. The quality of the tape that is used along with the material made it very easy to work with.
Things to get ready before starting. I suggest strongly watching both videos, the outer skins as well as the keyboard bezel videos before getting started. Get a pair of scissors and a hair dryer, that's it! I had mine put on in about 5 minutes with very little issue by watching both videos first and having those items on hand to use.
I have had the cover on my MacBook for about a week now. I carry it around in a messenger back and take it in and out multiple times a day. The cover hasn't worn or shown any signs that it will start to peel. I have had a few people ask me about the cover and want to take a look while out and about at the local coffee house. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone, as I have already to my friends and family! I will be picking up some more I hope very soon for my other devices.
iCarbons sells a skin for every current Apple device out today. They also sell a few skins for other devices, like the Kindle Fire and Galaxy Tab, along with some game consoles like the PS3, Wii, and Xbox360. Chances are (and with every day getting bigger) that if you are up with the current gadgets iCarbons is right there with you!
The skin for this review will set you back $49.95 +shipping and is well worth it. You have two mailing options, USPS First Class which at the time of this review is $2.95, and Priority Shipping for only $6.95!
We have gotten together with the guys over at iCarbons and they have provided us a unique opportunity to offer a 15% discount by using the code 'AT15' at check-out for all of our Facebook Fans!! Now is the best time to jump on this great opportunity and get a great cover for one of your valued gadgets!

Apple giving out patents to get their way?
Recently there have been some reports suggesting Apple is trying to push a new standard for "nano-SIM" cards. According to Reuters who reported back in May, Apple has even gone so far as submitting what they suggest to be new requirements to the ETSI (European Telecoms Standards Body). While Apple tries to push for this new standard, Motorola and Nokia are fighting for their own "nano-SIM" form factor as reported by Financial Times. According to Foss Patents, Apple is promising to license free of charge to competitors any Apple owned patents related to their version of "nano-SIM" to help bring people on board with what they believe should be the standard. Rivals appear to be more concerned that Apple will own the patents which could cost them royalties. If you think about it, smaller parts simply means the potential for smaller less bulky devices. I am on board with that! The meeting with ETSI is set to take place later this week, so we will see what starts to happen after! What do you think about this? What would you like to come out of this meeting? Please comment below and let us know your thoughts!

Looking for a Sexy Case for your iPhone 4S?
First off, I will go over it's design. It's made from a special TPU and comes in a variety of colors.
The case feels amazing in hand. The grip is rubbery, which is a good thing! The volume rockers
are not covered, which is a plus to some people. The same goes with the charging port and the front of the device. When turning the device around, you'll notice the Apple logo is covered and you'll see the ZooGue
logo at the bottom of the device.

When it comes to protection, this case offers a decent amount of protection. It feels sturdy without
being bulky like other cases, not saying names. I haven't tested it's durability yet, but according to
a few comments on ZooGue's page for this case, they have dropped it and their devices are fine.
OK, now I'll go over what I like about this case. First off, you can't beat the price. I payed $5.99 for
two gray cases when they usually go for $15 a case without the code (FreeZooGueAccessory). I also
enjoy the sturdiness feel you get with this case, without adding a lot of bulk.
Nothing is perfect, and this goes for ZooGue's iPhone 4S case. When using this case, it is very difficult
to unlock the device. That is really my only complaint. Other then that, I enjoy ZooGue's iPhone 4S case.
