Are you one that needs to upgrade your Data?
AT&T will be rolling out their new Data plans tomorrow (1-22-2012) to take place of the current 'Bucket' plans. Some have said that since upgrading to the iPhone-4S they have noticed a jump in their data usage due to Siri. I personally think that its possible, but also that many other things could also have attributed to the increase in data consumption. Things like iCloud being used, streaming content being more readily available to look at and YouTube and thing's of this nature. Never the less, the day had to come eventually where the allowed alotment got a bump to be more reasonable for todays growing demand. The current plans are $15 for 200mb ($15 additional 200mb over), and $25 for 2gb ($10 every additional 1gb). This may have been reasonable for back at the end of 2010 when tiered data was introduced with AT&T, but we have outgrown those caps I feel. The new plans although better, I would hope get another bump at least this time next year or so. $20 for 300mb (and $20 per additional 300mb over) and $30 for 3gig ($10 per additional 1gb). You are able to keep whatever current data plan you have now including Unlimited GrandFathered plans. The Unlimited plan however is now Throttled some where around 2-3gb I have read with less than 1mb downstream. Are these plans better then what you have now?
